Someone might be coming to look at Hwin next week. Praise the Lord! I now have to find time to ride her, clip her, bathe her and pull her mane. I can't wait till mom gets back to help with pulling her mane. That is my least favorite part for sure. Every one is having tons of fun at the beach. Michaela is getting to go to the passion event in Swaziland. She is going to have so much fun! She should have some really fun stories to share. I was called by the Lincoln County EMS system to appear at the next assessment center on October 12th. My foot is in the dor. Now I just have to amaze them with my assessment skills. I shouldn't have to take the written test because I had my state exam in the last six months. That will be very nice. I will have to study like crazy for the assessments though, because it has been quite a while since I have had to do one. I need practice taking blood pressures again as well.

Dad, Mom and the girls are all in Myrtle Beach right now. Mom posted some pictures on her blog and they look like they are having so much fun! I wish I could be with them right now but at least I am getting in a lot of hours at TSC and not missing class while they are there. Tonight I am supposed to be going contra dancing with Miranda. I can't wait!

Today I am at school like any other Wednesday. Michaela has been gone for over two weeks now and I miss her like crazy! You don't realize how much you rely on some people for emotional support until they are gone and you don't have them to lean on. She sound like she is doing so well though. Every email and post are upbeat and I have even gotten to skype with her once. Below are pictures of Michaela and Mom on their trip to Swaziland in the fall of 2010.

Life goes on, and on, and on. Sometimes it feels like my life continues on without it moving anywhere at all. I am getting older, getting grumpier and getting more cynical everyday but I am not moving forward with my plans. I feel I am following God's leading but can not help be impatient.

The family left for Atlanta yesterday. Today at nine in the evening, Michaela's plane will take off and she will be gone to Swaziland for three months. The last week has been a crazy whirlwind of shopping trips, packing, late nights and last minute hang out times. Our last big celebration was going to Outback and seeing Expendables 2, much to Mother's dismay:) It was violent but so epic. It even had Chuck Norris in it ... and he told a Chuck Norris joke. Best movie ever!!! Just because of that one thing. The pictures are of Michaela and I this week. Mom had to take pictures for Michaela's prayer cards and she got a little carried away!

Of all the things I could be doing right now, I am sitting in Everest Grill (my favorite restaurant) and studying genetics (not my favorite subject). School is already whipping my hind end but in a less painful manner then last semester. What do I wish most right now? I would get over whatever junk I am currently sick with. Secondly, Michaela's lovely mare would sell in the next nine days ... how long we have before Michaela leaves for Swaziland.

I know no one will probably read this blog but I want to start posting some pictures and general occurances in my life. I need to have these things documented someplace other than my head :) The picture is of Dad, Michaela, Miranda, Alexa, and Leah (Mom is taking the picture) at Chantilly Hall getting ready to contra dance. We have been going for about a month and half now and love it!! It is so good to have fun with friends and get better at dancing!
